 This microsite explores the history of Korean science fiction, tracing its evolution from the 1900s to today, alongside the growth of its fandom and its intersections with feminism. It highlights Korean Sci-fi publisher Hubble’s role in shaping the genre through publishing, literary awards, and support for groundbreaking works. Designed as a dynamic and structured platform, the site weaves together historical context, thematic analysis, and interactive storytelling, offering insight into how Korean Sci-fi authors envision the future—both its possibilities and warnings.

Content is divided into two key categories: text and imagery. These categories present the aforementioned themes in various formats, such as long-form essays and timelines. Several sections feature information such as key quotes, book cover art, and central themes, while also offering detailed introductions to individual novels.

Poster

Posters, designed using colors extracted from book covers, visually present additional data such as page counts, weaving a cohesive visual narrative of Korean sci-fi literature. 




Booklet

The booklet provides a more in-depth look at the novels featured on the website, highlighting key passages from each work.

 Soundbound explores the work of six sound artists—Christina Kubisch, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Susan Philipsz, Janet Cardiff & George Bures Miller, Christine Sun Kim, and Kevin Beasley—showcasing their diverse sound art projects. The design seeks to establish a rhythmic flow by carefully arranging text and imagery. On artist pages where visuals take precedence, the placement of captions subtly evokes the intangible nature of sound.
